Best Zesty BBQ Marinade

Paint the town red, white, and blue this 4th of July with this flavorful, tender, and savory BBQ recipe and a bottle of our lemonade to complete the party!

What’s going on your spread this Independence Day?

Ingredients:

• Ribs or Chicken cuts (or your favorite cut of meat)
• 1/2 cup Indian River Select Lemonade
• 1 pouch of BBQ sauce mix or dry rub
• 1/2 cup soda
• 1 tsp chopped garlic
• Green onions (diced)
• Green peppers (optional)

Directions:

1. Mix 1/2 cup Indian River Select Lemonade, BBQ sauce, 1/2 cup soda, 1 tsp chopped garlic, and green onions in 1 bowl.

2. Place chicken piece into a gallon-sized bag and add marinade. Close the bag and move the marinade around until the chicken is coated and place in the fridge for several hours.

3. Grill chicken (or preferred meat) on your barbecue turning until cooked through. Grill with green peppers, onions, or veg of your choice, for added flavor (optional)!

4. Serve and enjoy!
