Zesty Lemonade Recipes You Can Try At Home!

National Lemonade Day may be over but we continue to celebrate its flavor here at Indian River Select!  

That said, we’ve prepared 3 delicious lemonade-based recipes just for you (main dish, dessert, and drink) so you can join in on the fun and festivities from the comfort of your home!

Lemon Linguine

Quick and easy to make, this pasta dish is the best way to end the weekday and to treat yourself to a meal that’s bursting with flavor and comfort!


  • 12oz Linguine – or pasta of your choice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp of fresh parsley 
  • ¼ cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • Lemon zest from 1 lemon
  • ¼ cup of Indian River Select Lemonade


  1. Cook the pasta in a pot of salted water according to package instructions, until al dente. Drain pasta water, reserving ½ cup for later use.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Once hot, add garlic, parsley, lemon zest, and Indian River Select Lemonade. 
  3. Add the pasta water from step 1, your parmesan cheese, then stir to combine. Bring sauce to a simmer.
  4. Transfer cooked pasta to the skillet with sauce, then toss until well coat.
  5. Serve with extra parsley and cheese, if desired. Enjoy!

Not-Too-Naughty Lemon Bars

Tart and rich perfection in one snack!  Perfect for when you’re craving a delicious but still healthy dessert, these lemon bars are sure to be a family fave!


For the crust:

  • 1 cup gluten-free flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sweetener of choice
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup dairy-free butter (melted)

For the filling:

  • 3 tbsp gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup granulated sweetener of choice 
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup Indian River Select Lemonade
  • ¼ cup sugar-free powdered sugar (optional)


  1. Preheat the oven to 170C/325F. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add all the crust ingredients and mix until combined. Transfer into the lined pan and press down until smooth, then place the crust in the oven to bake for 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden.
  3. While the crust is baking, prepare the filling by adding flour and sweetener to a mixing bowl. Mix well, then add eggs and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the lemon filling over the crust and spread out evenly. Place back into the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until filling remains firm once lightly shaken.
  5. Remove the lemon bars from the oven and allow to cool completely. Once cool, sift the powdered sweetener all over the top, if desired.
  6. Refrigerate, then slice!

Wickedly Tasty Whipped Lemonade

If you haven’t tried this recently viral, and very customizable drink, then you’re missing out! This Whipped Lemonade is a creamy and tangy dream that hits all the right notes lemonade lovers are looking for!

Needless to say, each sip will leave you wanting more!


  • 3 cups of ice
  • 2 cups of whipped cream
  • ⅓ cup of sweetened condensed or choice of sweetener
  • ½ cup Indian River Select Lemonade


  1. Combine ice, condensed milk or choice of sweetener, Indian River Select Lemonade, and a cup of whipped cream in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy with no ice chunks left.
  3. Pour into a glass and top with remaining whipped cream.
  4. Add in your choice of garnish (lemon wheel, muddled berries, fresh mint, or even your favorite fruit jam!)
